WiseSample Relocates to Prepare for Growth

Canadian survey sample and panel technology firm WiseSample has relocated to bigger premises in downtown Toronto, in preparation for a recruitment drive across several areas of the business.

Launched last year by former Toluna exec Gaurav Agarwal, WiseSample uses a combination of web analytics - including Webtrends, Core Metrics and Google Analytics - and behavioral analysis including ethnographic technique 'Netnografi', to understand people's online and social media behavior and compile what it says is the 'most relevant' sample for market research purposes.

Commenting on the relocation, Agarwal said: 'The move has been driven by business growth and to support this growth, the company is going to hire across many functions including sales, account management, and engineering. This will provide a solid platform for our ongoing expansion, and help us achieve the ambitious growth targets we've set for the next two years.'
