Infotools Promotes and Hires in NZ

In New Zealand, MR software provider Infotools has promoted Chris Spence for a newly created role, Sales & Marketing Director, in charge of the global sales team and marketing initiatives. The firm has also appointed former Ipsos ASI Director Horst Feldhaeuser.

Chris Spence and Horst FeldhaeuserFounded in 1990 by Ant Franklin and Ron Stroeven, Infotools focuses on converting marketing research data into a 'knowledge bank', through which it says clients can investigate, visualise and create stories. As well as its headquarters in Auckland, it has offices in Wellington, Stockholm, Atlanta, Seattle, Johannesburg, Buenos Aires and London, employing nearly 180 people in total.

Spence joined the firm in in 2007, and most recently served as Client Development Director. He previously spent more than eight years at Nielsen, latterly as Regional Client Director in Singapore.

Commenting on the promotion, Franklin says: 'With more than eighteen years' experience in the market research industry and given his past success as Infotools Client Development Director, we are confident of Chris's ability to continue growing our global footprint.'

Feldhaeuser joins from Potentiate in Sydney, where he worked as Head of Client Services. Prior to this, he was Director of Ipsos ASI, and National Financial Services Director at Synovate, where he previously served as Research Director in Auckland.

In his new role as Global Client Director, Feldhaeuser will Head Infotools' account with the Coca Cola Company. Franklin adds: 'Horst's impressive credentials and experience give him a very solid platform from which to build on our relationship with this beverage giant.'
