Buy Unites Customer Experience Firms

Rosslyn, VA-based firm CXSolutions ('CX Act') has acquired analytics start-up Shopalytic, which helps small and medium sized businesses interact with their customers.

CX Act offers research, analytics, technology and consulting to help consumers and businesses optimise customer experience. Executive Chair LeRoy Pingho says the acquisition will be the first in a series of steps in an 'aggressive growth plan' aiming to widen the range of services offered by the company, 'from consumer oriented products to full-spectrum business offerings that will help clients realize bottom-line results.'

Shopalytic, founded by Erik Steigler and Adam Gotterer, represents 'the start of CX Act's expansion into product(s), analytics and leading-edge offerings', according to Pingho.

Gotterer says of the sale: 'We are excited that Shopalytic is being acquired by CX Act, a company that understands how to help businesses truly leverage the most from their Customer Experience efforts.
