YouGov UK CEO Tim Britton Departs

YouGov UK CEO Tim Britton has left the company after seven years, to pursue 'the next stage of his career'. He is replaced on an interim basis by Chief Strategy Officer Alex McIntosh.

Tim BrittonBritton (pictured) joined YouGov in 2008 to take on responsibility for all aspects of the firm's UK business. He was promoted in 2011 to COO, EMEA, and most recently served as UK CEO and Global Reports. Earlier, he spent seven years at IFF Research, latterly as the company's MD.

In a statement, YouGov said Britton had decided that 'the time was right' to move on to pursue the next stage of his career. Britton said he had enjoyed his time at YouGov, describing it as a 'great company with a clear strategy and fantastic people'.

Company co-founder Stephan Shakespeare commented: 'Tim has been an integral part of our growth and whilst we are sad to see him go, we wish him the very best of luck for the future.'
