Joint Venture Creates US Company for BDRC

London-based BDRC Group has launched BDRC Americas, a joint venture with Washington, DC-based full service researcher Fusion Analytics, which merges into the new company.

Fusion's founder and President Matthew Petrie and Director Liz Healy will assume similar positions in the new venture and will 'continue to operate business as usual'. BDRC will be a majority shareholder and will be represented on the Board of the new company by CEO Dr Cris Tarrant and Director Matt Costin.

The company, whose sector expertise covers hotels and hospitality, travel and tourism, financial services, media, and government/not-for-profit, already has offices in Singapore, Beijing, Jakarta and Sydney, and says the North American team brings expertise in key business challenges such as branding, customer experience and compliance.

Tarrant describes the move as 'a significant milestone in the development of the BDRC Group', and continues: 'From today we now operate in all of the world's most significant regional markets for consumer insight. Our major clients manage global businesses without geographical boundaries and this venture enables us to offer a geographically seamless service, ensuring that we remain close to our clients' most pressing business issues and requirements wherever they are located.'
