Visible Measures Debuts '100% Viewable Video' Solution
US-based video analytics firm Visible Measures has launched a '100% viewable video' solution, which it claims will guarantee the MRC and IAB viewability standard of 50% of pixels in-view for at least two continuous seconds.
Visible Measures was founded in 2005 and provides MRC-accredited metrics which help clients measure video consumption and viral distribution, as well as the Fabric video and native ad targeting platform. With the newly launched system, the firm says advertisers will only be charged if the MRC standard of video viewability is reached, and if the user interacts with the video or plays it in full-view for a minimum of 30 seconds.
CEO Brian Shin (pictured) comments: 'Without this accountability, brands can't be assured as to whether consumers are actually seeing their video ads. In other words, you may be paying for something you actually don't get. Our viewable video solution is a direct response to this need, extending the IAB and MRC suggested definitions, to guarantee consumer attention.'
