Dubit Opens Office in Australia

UK-headquartered youth research and marketing strategist Dubit has opened an office in Melbourne, Australia, where it has appointed kids brand specialist Adam Schoff to lead its expansion across the AsiaPac region.

Adam SchoffLeeds-based Dubit's in-house research team helps the firm create kids digital entertainment and games through its direct-to-youth online panels and networks, which track young people's trends, motivations and behaviours. This team also offers a range of services for market sizing, audience profiling, competitor analysis, and usability testing. Last year, the firm expanded to the US, with the opening of an office in Los Angeles and the appointment of Brad Schultz, the former Head of Moshi TV.

Schoff (pictured) joins in Melbourne with a background of developing brand strategy, with a particular focus on the kids' market. He currently serves as MD of ZooSkyMedia, which involves working with the family of the late Steve Irwin - specifically his children, Bindi and Robert - as well as managing their media assets including the Crocodile Hunter brand. He will continue to serve in this role, as he helps to grow Dubit in the Asia Pacific region. Earlier, he was a director at consumer brand SlumberTrek Australia, and he was General Manager, Asia for the Media Entertainment Group.

Commenting on the appointment and the opening of the new office, Dubit CEO Ian Douthwaite said: 'More than 70% of our revenue in 2014 came from outside the UK, in particular from the US, but also from Singapore, China and Australia. Adam will help us to have closer contact with current Asia Pacific clients, and also offer our consulting and digital development services to other great children's entertainment creators on that side of the world.'
