Shop! Aussie Partners to Tip Off Store Sales Staff

In Australia, real-time marketing tech firm Signal has announced a partnership with beacon technology provider iProximity, promising marketers the ability to connect customer journeys across channels, target promotions accordingly, and even alert sales staff to the arrival in-store of a hot prospect.

Shop! Aussie Partners to Tip Off Store Sales StaffSignal's Fuse Platform helps marketers collect data from a variety of off-line and online sources, connecting identities across consumer touch points and delivering profiles to 'any marketing or analytics endpoint' in real time; while iProximity is the developer of the HelloLocal app and data discovery solution TapBoards.

Clients of Fuse can now use the iProximity technology to detect customers in-stores and personalise mobile app content based on products recently viewed by that person online. In addition to pushing promotions to the customer, the software can inform retail sales staff the moment a high-value customer or qualified lead has entered the store.

According to Warren Billington, Signal's MD, APAC: 'Signal offers a unified view of the customer that makes it possible for marketers to see the impact and influence that every online and offline touchpoint has on customer behaviour, providing richer insight into the entire customer journey'. iProximity founder David Burden comments: 'Our partnership with Signal means that marketers now have a complete solution to connect physical world behaviours with all digital channels, giving marketers the ability to better understand how digital media efforts influence in-store consumer behaviour and visa versa.'

The partners are online at www.signal.co and www.iproximity.net .
