WPP Buys Dutch Agency Greenhouse
WPP's GroupM has acquired Netherlands-based firm Greenhouse Group, which provides digital media and marketing services through four operating companies. Among these is Source Republic, whose services include insight and analysis.
Greenhouse Group was founded in 2007, employs more than 150 people and had unaudited revenues for the calendar year 2014 of EUR 10.1m. Its other constituent agencies are Blue Mango Interactive and Fresh Fruit Digital, both online marketing agencies, and social media specialist We Are Blossom. Source Republic also offers SEO and content marketing.
Greenhouse will operate as a stand-alone business within GroupM and will continue to be led by CEO Marion Koopman and CFO Frank Sanders.
WPP companies (including associates) in The Netherlands generate revenues of around US$300 million and employ 1,300 people.
