Ipsos Names Myers Canada Country Manager
Ipsos has promoted Rob Myers to the position of Country Manager for Canada, where he will be responsible for the company's business, staff, and client relationships. He replaces Gary Bennewies, who is relocating to Paris to serve as Global Chief Talent Officer.
Myers (pictured) was most recently MD for Ipsos Marketing in the UK, and before that President of Ipsos Marketing in the US. He was MD Canada, Head of Motor North America and then EVP North America at Synovate before its acquisition by Ipsos, and earlier held roles at Synovate's then parent company Aegis, and at American Express Strategy.
In his new role, Myers takes over from Bennewies, who has moved to the newly created role of Chief Talent Officer, overseeing the HR function across Ipsos, as well as initiatives relating to talent development and succession planning.
Pierre Le Manh, CEO North America, comments on Myers' appointment: 'I am glad to have Rob back, after his previous roles with Ipsos Marketing in the US and in the UK. He will bring both the broad experience and fresh thinking to continue to move our business in Canada forward'.
