Confirmit Buys Australian Reseller IRM

Research software firm Confirmit has acquired Information Research Management (IRM), its exclusive reseller in Sydney, Australia. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

IRM has been Confirmit's reseller for more than eleven years, providing local sales, support, training and consulting services for its solutions in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Confirmit, which launched an SaaS environment for its Horizons product in Australia and New Zealand earlier this year, says the IRM buy demonstrates its continuing and increased commitment to the region.

The newly combined business will operate from Sydney and be known as Confirmit Australia, led by former IRM General Manager Chris Breslin (pictured), who becomes Confirmit Country Manager.
