INRIX Hires Former Vodafone Group Head of Analytics

Transportation analytics specialist INRIX has appointed former Vodafone Group Head of Analytics Chris Handley, to lead the development of its 'movement analytics' capability.

Chris HandleyThe firm's goal is to use big data analytics and predictive traffic tools to reduce the individual, economic and environmental toll of traffic congestion. Handley (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' data analytics and product development experience. He spent the last eleven years at Vodafone, latterly as Group Head of Analytics, responsible for the development and execution of strategy, product road map, partner relationships and overall profit and loss. Earlier, he held a variety of product management positions at AT&T Wireless, GoAhead Software and Visio.

INRIX's movement analytics offering, which Handley will now lead, combines mobile network and GPS data sets to provide public sector and enterprise customers with insights into the movement of people and commerce in urban areas worldwide.
