Jibunu Launches Message Analysis Tool

CATE and RICK, meet MAT... MR technology firm Jibunu has added another qualitative tool to its growing family - this one is a Message Analysis Tool which simplifies card sort exercises in moderated message testing.

RICK, a focus group tool whose full name is Roundtable Interview Conversation Kickstarter, was launched in August and survey testing environment CATE followed a month later.

MAT is a customizable tool to facilitate the 'common but sometimes challenging' qualitative process of getting respondents / participants to 'winnow down messages and flow them into a story'. Its exercises use drag-and-drop technology to let participants move messages into categorical buckets and can be combined, repeated and modified to help researchers find the messages that resonate. As well as text, messages can be conveyed using images, ads, concepts and other stimuli to increase engagement; and Jibunu says MAT also allows 'unprecedented backend control over the content of the exercises... dovetailing with any existing process'.

Company President Ken Berry says MAT 'adds tremendous agility and functionality to this fundamental qualitative process'.

Jibunu was founded in 2003 and develops database-driven online survey technology, focusing on both the respondent experience and researcher needs. Its home page is at www.jibunu.com .
