Kinesis and SHC Debut Project Management Tool

Software firm Kinesis Survey Technologies and data collection provider SHC Universal have jointly developed a tool called the Project Management Dashboard, to help researchers with the simultaneous management of multiple projects.

The solution offers a centralized view of key metrics for each open research project: for example red alert flags to indicate potential fielding issues, percent complete calculated from all campaign completes, percentage of points budget spent across all campaigns, and hours remaining to field. Available through the Kinesis Panel platform, shortcuts within the dashboard allow users to move between campaigns. SHC Universal CTO and President Keith Strassberg says his firm is already seeing greater efficiency and streamlined delivery to clients.

Kinesis co-founder and CTO Juha Vehnia adds: 'Working with SHC Universal, we recognized the need for a means to manage multiple projects and campaigns concurrently from a single summary location. With the release of the Project Management Dashboard, we have streamlined the process of running multiple projects fielding at the same time by allowing users to see project statistics in a single view, and acting on those that are the most urgent at any given time'.
