E-Tabs and Merlinco Link Analysis and Reporting

MR software developers E-Tabs and Merlinco have teamed up to offer users a seamless transition between analysis and reporting of research.

Users can now perform their survey data processing using Merlinco's MERLIN survey tabulation system, and export the results directly into E-Tab's suite of reporting tools for instant charting and full report automation.

MERLIN is Merlinco's main data analysis engine, used by most large research agencies, while MERLINPLUS offers nearly all the features of MERLIN but within a menu-driven shell. E-Tabs' suite of reporting tools includes its Enterprise report automation solution which enables population of reports directly from data tables; Graphique, a PowerPoint-based ad hoc charting tool; and an automated table-checking solution called Verify, scrutinising elements such as frequencies, percentages and hole counts.

Peter Jackling, Business Development Director at Merlinco, says the partnership is a logical development, to provide clients with a combination of survey analysis and reporting tools.
