Movvo Hires Retail Specialist Alexandra Petit

In the UK, movement intelligence and shopper behaviour analyst Movvo has hired retail specialist Alexandra Petit as Customer Experience Officer.

Alexandra PetitMovvo's technology detects and locates mobile devices to give retailers information about how people interact in shopping centres, transport hubs, city centres and sports and entertainment venues. Real-time count and location data is delivered via a web portal, with support available through the firm's consulting team.

Petit (pictured) joins with more than fifteen years' senior experience of analysing and advising consumer brands and retail landlords, and with a knowledge of both the UK and European retail and property sectors. She spent a decade at property development and investment company Hammerson, latterly as Group Head of Consumer Insight, advising on customer proposition, marketing strategy and sales growth. She is also the Vice Chair of the European Research Group of the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC).

In her new role, Petit is tasked with helping owners of commercial spaces understand their customers' behaviour, and turning this insight into actions and profits.
