SurveyMonkey Promotes TechValidate Founders
DIY online research software firm SurveyMonkey has added TechValidate co-founders Steve Norall and Brad O'Neill to its leadership team, effective immediately. Norall becomes SVP, SurveyMonkey for Business Product, and O'Neill SVP of Global Sales.
Content automation specialist Tech Validate was acquired by SurveyMonkey in August last year, and helps clients rapidly turn online survey data into content for sales and marketing communication. Recently promoted SurveyMonkey CEO Zander Lurie says of the pair: 'We knew they were powerful forces when we acquired TechValidate and have continued to be impressed with their industry knowledge and strong leadership. We are fortunate to have acquired a rapidly growing business whose leaders have capabilities we can leverage across the broader SurveyMonkey portfolio'.
Norall has more than two decades of leadership experience as a serial entrepreneur and operator at SaaS and enterprise software companies, and will now lead development of SurveyMonkey's business solutions. O'Neill, who brings more than twenty years of sales experience, will be responsible for building, scaling and driving the company's global salesforce.
Founded in 1999, SurveyMonkey processes more than 3 million survey responses every day and has more than 700 employees globally, with headquarters in Palo Alto, CA. The firm says its current priorities, in addition to the development of SurveyMonkey for Business, are 'innovating its self-serve platform and leveraging its speed and scale to deliver more data-driven solutions' such as Benchmarks.
