TapInfluence to Open Silicon Valley Office

US-based influencer marketing specialist TapInfluence is opening a new office in Silicon Valley, and has appointed Eli Gild to lead it in the newly created role of Chief Technology Officer.

The firm's software automates the creation, management and measurement of online influencer marketing programs. Social media contributors with audiences on blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube and Vine use TapInfluence to connect with relevant brands and generate revenue from their personal content, while brands and marketers use it to analyse content.

The new engineering office in Mountain View, California will officially open in April, housing up to ten employees including data scientists, engineers and product personnel. Gild (pictured) joins from online retailer HDS Global where he served as CTO, before which he held similar roles at professional networking specialist Upmo, and online games company KickNation. Earlier, he was CTO of Rondavu, and spent several years in a senior business operations role with LexisNexis.
