Jigsaw Hires Heads of Research
Expanding Australia agency Jigsaw has appointed former employee Eva Ladas-Meyer as Head of Quant Research and former Millward Brown exec Jo Goddard as Head of Qual.
 Ladas-Meyer brings more than 25 years of market research experience, both qual and quant. Since her last stint at Jigsaw - she joined as an Account Director in 1996 and worked her way up to Partner before leaving in 2005 - she has worked as a Research Director at SMPR and run her own business, Genesis Training & Research.
With a similar length of experience, Goddard has worked in the UK as well as Australia, at companies including Millward Brown, the Department of Regional Development and Lands, and URBIS. She specialises in leading multidisciplinary to design and deliver research projects.
Jigsaw is part of the Enero Group, which also owns The Leading Edge and which as Photon underwent a massive restructuring five years ago, following major debt problems. Jigsaw itself was founded in 1994 by joint CEOs Jude Rutherford and Nerida Newman, and last year appointed John Matthews as Managing Director. The company has particular strength in FMCG, property and financial services markets, as well as government and media.
Matthews says of the new hires: 'I couldn't be happier to have Eva and Jo on board. Already we have a wonderful collaborative relationship which our clients are starting to see the benefit of. Hopefully they will be the first of many diverse and ambitious joiners'.
