New Global Insights Leader for Hyatt Hotels

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has appointed former Kraft Foods insight exec Jen Acerra as Vice President, Global Brand Research and Insights, leading the group's global MR team.

Jen AcerraShe brings nearly fifteen years of expertise in market research and consumer insights, the last nine of them at Kraft, most recently as Head of Consumer Insights and Strategy for Beverages. She began her career with the consumer and market knowledge team at Procter & Gamble.

In her new role, Acerra will study the changing mindset of the global traveler, helping the firm to develop a deeper understanding of how they engage with brands across the Hyatt portfolio.

Acerra will report to Global CMO Maryam Banikarim, who comments: 'Putting the guest first is at the core of everything we do, and I am so thrilled to bring Jen aboard to lead our global insights group. Her wealth of experience in strategy, consumer behavior and innovation will help us design compelling experiences for our guests and drive growth worldwide'.

The firm also appointed Heather Geisler as VP, Creative & Field Marketing. Most recently VP, Brand marketing for MSNBC, she will report to SVP Global Brands Sandra Micek.

Hyatt is headquartered in Chicago, and boasts twelve premier brands and 652 properties in 53 countries. The former include Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency.
