FocusVision Promotes and Recruits in US

Research technology and services group FocusVision has promoted Jonathan Tice to the role of SVP of North American Sales, while sensory research specialist Michael Kuehne joins as Senior Research Strategist.

Tice joined the company last year as SVP of Client Development, after it acquired MR tech firm Decipher, where he oversaw global sales efforts. Before this, he was VP of Sales and Marketing at Critical Mix; VP of Regional Sales and Marketing at Authentic Response; Regional Sales Director at Return Path; and Market Research Product Manager at TechTarget.

CEO Jamin Brazil says Tice has been 'an integral part of FocusVision's success from the onset of joining the team', and adds: 'He brings superior levels of leadership, strategic thinking, technology expertise and customer service that have continually positioned us as an innovative and conscientious business partner for our customers'.

Kuehne previously worked at sensory research company Gustatec Corporation as Sensory and Consumer Insights Director, having previously held a similar role at Q Research Solutions. Earlier, he worked client-side as Associate Consumer & Sensory Insight Manager at yogurt maker The Dannon Company, and Sensory Technician at Avon. In his new role, Kuehne will work closely with FocusVision's Sales and Product Development teams to create customized technology solutions for clients, with an emphasis on pharma, healthcare and CPG organizations.
