Former Carlton TV Researcher Becomes iProspect UK CEO

Marcoms group Dentsu Aegis Network has hired Stefan Bardega as UK Chief Executive of its digital marketing agency iProspect. He replaces Chris Whitelaw, who was promoted to the post of EMEA President and Global Commercial Director at the beginning of this year.

Stefan BardegaAcquired by Aegis in 2004, iProspect helps brands maximize their online marketing ROI through services such as consultancy on SEO and social media strategy, conversion optimization, mobile marketing, modelling and research. Bardega (pictured) joins from ZenithOptimedia, where he was Global Chief Digital Officer, overseeing the output of the firm's 2,500 digital specialists in 75 countries. His career began in 1996 working in quantitative research for Carlton Television, before he took senior digital management roles at Outrider and MediaCom, joining ZenithOptimedia in 2014.

In his new position, Bardega will work closely with iProspect's existing leadership team, and will also have group-wide accountability for accelerating digital capabilities and growth across the UK. He will report to Tracy De Groose, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network UK & Ireland, who comments: 'Data-driven insight has never been more important to brand performance and business growth and iProspect is a market-leader and true innovator in this space.
