SurveyMonkey Teams Up with Zignal Labs

US big data specialist Zignal Labs and DIY online research firm SurveyMonkey have partnered to create a cross-media analytics and survey research platform for communications, PR, social media and brand marketing professionals.

Josh Ginsberg and Jon CohenThe partnership enables users to activate SurveyMonkey's primary research capabilities within the Zignal Enterprise dashboard, to help uncover underlying issues and trends. SurveyMonkey's public opinion research will also be integrated into the Zignal dashboard, to help communications and marketing teams overlay media insights with survey results within customized reports.

Initially, the new offering will enable users to tap into the SurveyMonkey Election Tracking tool, combined with Zignal Labs' cross-media analytics, to disclose voter and constituent issues. Zignal Labs CEO Josh Ginsberg says that by harnessing Zignal's real-time cross-media analytics with SurveyMonkey's online polling, communications professionals will be able to discover the facts behind particular issues.

Jon Cohen, Chief Research Officer at SurveyMonkey, adds: 'Quick turnaround, high-quality survey data add depth to media monitoring, and cross-platform analytics provides essential context for polls. But that powerful combination has been largely unachievable and unaffordable.
