GutCheck Hires Giacobbe for Senior Ops Role

In the US, online community specialist GutCheck has appointed industry veteran Joe Giacobbe as Vice President of Research Operations.

Denver, CO-based GutCheck gives access to qualified targeted respondents using a patent-pending recruitment engine which sorts through a panel of more than five million online research participants. When a qualified match is found, GutCheck initiates online, anonymous, 30-minute one-on-one interviews with consumers, at a 'nominal' cost per chat.

Giacobbe (pictured) joins with more than 30 years' MR industry experience, mostly recently co-founding management consultancy Giacobbe & Giacobbe. Previously, he oversaw panels, operations, and product development in various roles at WPP-owned Lightspeed Research; and before this he was EVP, Global Panels & Operations at Vision Critical, SVP, Ipsos Interactive North America, and Director, Business Systems at NPD Group.

In his new role, Giacobbe will focus on work with GutCheck's technology team to accelerate the development of new research solutions.
