Buyout Complete for Booming Trinity McQueen
Leeds-based agency Trinity McQueen has completed its MBO with the help of a £2.5m funding package from Santander Corporate & Commercial. The money will also help with the company's 'ambitious plans for further growth and international expansion'.
The buyout was completed on 30th September 2016, concluding a two-and-a-half year process negotiated with the help of Parsons Chartered Accountants and Leeds law firm Clarion - when this started the company was Brass Insight, having been formed as a division of marcoms agency Brass.
The MBO team led by joint MDs Anna Cliffe (pictured) and Robin Horsfield have now completed the purchase of all shares of the firm, which has a turnover of £5.5m and employs 45 in Leeds and London. Turnover rose 13 percent to £4.48m in the 12 months ending September 2015, having increased by 17% the previous year. Latest figures suggest that if anything the firm's growth is accelerating.
Horsfield, quoted on bdaily.co.uk , says of the latest announcement: 'It is great news that we have reached this milestone - we have worked very closely with Parsons and Clarion since they put together the deal for us three years ago and we wouldn't have got here without them. It's also good to have support from Santander which will accelerate our investment in people, technology and creative services to expand our business here in Yorkshire, across the UK and into new, international markets'.
