App Annie Hires Chief Product Officer

US firm App Annie has appointed former SAP exec Aaron Mahimainathan as Chief Product Officer, responsible for expanding the firm's mobile app intelligence products.

App Annie is used by the developers of more than a million apps to track their performance. Its Store Intelligence product helps clients understand the app ecosystem; Audience Intelligence offers publishers in-depth analysis of app users' demographics, related apps and sentiment data; and the firm also has its own internal Research & Analysis division.

Mahimainathan (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' product management and marketing experience. Previous roles include Chief Product Officer at app development software firm Telerik, and a variety of positions at SAP, Siebel Systems and Oracle.
