Accenture Buys Data-Led Comms Agency Karmarama

Global management consultancy Accenture has acquired London-based data-driven communications agency Karmarama. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Brian WhippleThe Karmarama group also includes consumer behaviour specialist Crayon, which owns MR and insights consultancies Walk a Mile and Crayon CI; and youth insights agency KID. The deal boosts the full suite of customer transformation services Accenture Interactive provides to clients - from customer insights to creative conception and omnichannel delivery of experiences. It also contributes to the growth of Accenture Interactive's UK team of marketing professionals and creatives. Karmarama Executive Chairman Jon Wilkins, CEO Ben Bilboul, Chief Strategy Officer Sid McGrath, and Chief Creative Officer Nik Studzinski will continue in their current roles; and will take on additional Accenture Interactive leadership positions to drive brand strategy and creativity in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America (EALA).
