Resonate Offers Life-Stage Data for Instant Targeting
In the US, consumer intelligence specialist Resonate has made available new consumer 'life-stage' data, allowing marketers to target individuals with relevant messages and influence purchasing behavior in real-time.
The company maintains a pool of consumer data based on more than 200,000 long-form surveys, and has expanded its data set to include questions about what types of life changes consumers are about to go through and in what timeframe. It will now use contextual analysis of fifteen billion 'events' each day and modeling on more than 230 million consumers to help marketers target people as they go through these transition periods. Stages include such things as purchasing a new home, changing jobs, getting married, and becoming a parent.
The company says the new data enhances its existing consumer intelligence which includes values, beliefs, motivators, and purchase drivers at the individual level. COO and co-founder Andy Hunn (pictured) explains: 'With this unique data, marketers can now reach consumers with the right messaging at the right time during significant life transition periods. Whether it is buying a first home, getting married or looking for safe products for a new baby on the way, these important life stages are when people move away from auto-pilot shopping and make conscious buying decisions'.
