Frapolli Named President of NPD Supplies Business

In the US, retail information provider The NPD Group has promoted Tia Frapolli to the role of President of its Supplies business.

Frapolli (pictured) joined the firm in 2011, and most recently served as Executive Director of Client Development for the Home practice, working with manufacturers in the kitchen electrics, housewares, floorcare, home environment and textile industries. Prior to NPD, Frapolli spent more than a decade in brand management, category management and marketing positions at World Kitchen and Bosch.

In her new role, Frapolli reports to Perry James, who continues to lead the firm's US Hardlines Sector, including Automotive, Home, and Office Supplies. Commenting on the appointment, James said: 'The office supplies landscape is undergoing a transformation, and at this turning point for the industry Tia's wealth of knowledge and experience will be a valuable asset to our Office Supplies clients and retail partners. This change will allow us to partner with clients in new and different ways, and identify more opportunities to help grow their businesses'.
