New Harris Parent Signs for One World Trade Center

The Stagwell Group has signed a 13-year lease for two floors in One World Trade Center, where it says it will bring together its portfolio of companies including Harris Insights & Analytics and former Nielsen company National Research Group.

Mark PennOne World Trade Center is the main structure of the rebuilt WTC complex and currently the tallest building in the western hemisphere. Stagwell, founded two years ago by Penn Schoen Berland co-founder and senior Microsoft exec Mark Penn (pictured), will take just under 84,000 square feet of space on the 62nd and 63rd floors, bringing the tower's occupancy rate to 75 percent.

Stagwell set up its revamped Harris brand with the acquisition of custom research assets from Nielsen in January, including the Harris brand and Harris Poll, and enhanced it last month with the addition of a new HarrisX unit formed from more Nielsen assets, namely its Mobile Insights Survey and Total Communications Survey.
