New Analyst Firm Focuses on Tech Disruption

In the US, four former Altimeter Group analysts have launched Kaleido Insights, a new boutique research and advisory firm focused on helping companies 'transform the 'kaleidoscope' of technological disruption into clear, actionable strategies'.

Founders Jaimy Szymanski, Jeremiah Owyang, Jessica Groopman and Rebecca Lieb all worked at Altimeter for a number of years earlier in the decade. With the new launch, the four have simultaneously released a report, Three Macrotrends Impacting the Journey to 2030, which they say 'sets the stage for a series of additional reports under development'. The three trends identified as transforming modern society, culture and business are Super Humans, Fluid Organizations and Enlightened Ecosystems - and the report includes recommendations on how organizations can interpret these to create a clear vision for innovation.

The firm will use 'rigorous original research' to assist firms with customer experience (CX) and digital transformation; product and service automation; data- and ecosystem-driven business models; marketing and content; and organisational change.
