Ipsos Marketing Names Chris Sinclair President, US

Ipsos Marketing has appointed former TORA co-owner Chris Sinclair as President, US, based in Manhattan. Meanwhile Jessica Schneider has been promoted to the position of President of the US Quantitative business unit, based in Chicago.

Ipsos Marketing focuses on issues related to innovation, market understanding and path to purchase. Sinclair (pictured) most recently led the division in Europe, the Middle East & Africa. He joined Ipsos in 2011 as SVP of the firm's InnoQuest innovation practice in New York, having previously been CEO of TORA (The Oxford Research Agency). Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Director at Ipsos Novaction, and he founded and ran the new business team at MMR, where he was also responsible for the US arm. In his new role, Sinclair succeeds Elys Roberts, who has left to set up a new initiative. Sinclair will now be responsible for all business units within Ipsos Marketing, including Quantitative, Qualitative (Ipsos UU), Social Media (Ipsos SMX), Consulting (Ipsos Strategy3) and Healthcare; along with the Behavioral Science group (BSci) in the US.

Schneider has spent the past nearly twelve years at Ipsos, having joined as a Project Manager in 2006. In her new role she succeeds Joe Marshall, who is taking another position at Ipsos UK, but will remain based in Chicago.
