Prescient Healthcare Names Global Head of Advisory

Biopharmaceutical product strategy consultancy Prescient Healthcare Group has appointed Dr Debasish Talukdar as Global Head of Advisory.

With offices in London, New York, San Francisco, New Delhi and Beijing, Prescient offers a range of product, brand and mature brand planning services. Talukdar (pictured) joins in London, after a decade at management consultancy Bain & Company, latterly as Principal of the Healthcare Practice. His experience includes advising biopharma clients on value creation through corporate, business unit, disease area and product-focused strategies. Talukdar began his career as a physician before making the move into strategy consulting, and he has lived and worked in the US, EU, India and Singapore.

In his new role, Talukdar's remit is to grow the firm's VantageRx advisory services business. Commenting on the appointment, CEO Jamie Denison-Pender said: 'Debasish will be responsible for driving the future trajectory of our advisory practice. His Tier 1 consultancy experience coupled with his medical background makes him a fantastic fit for us.
