Former Cadreon Boss Joins Annalect as ANZ CEO

Darren Stein, the former CEO of IPG's digital marketing services platform Cadreon, has been named Australia and New Zealand CEO of Omnicom's analytics and technology division Annalect. He will join on 1 May 2019.

Darren SteinAnnalect brings together digital and analytic experts from across Omnicom's speciality divisions. Services offered include media analytics, business intelligence, tools and dashboard systems, econometric modelling (Brand Science), search (Resolution Media) and a DSP trading and data management platform. Stein (pictured) will join after nearly four years at Cadreon, having been named CEO when the firm was merged with insights and analytics agency Anomoly in 2016.

Prior to this, he worked for News Corp Australia as Director, Insights, Analytics and Strategy, responsible for creating a new team charged with analysing feedback from both readers and advertisers. Earlier, he spent eight years at telecoms operator Optus, where he latterly worked as General Manager, Insights, Segmentation & Planning, in charge of a team of 40; and he spent two years as an Account Director at Jigsaw Strategic Research.
