MR Software Firm Remesh Hires and Promotes in New York

MR Software firm has made four new hires at its New York headquarters, and promoted Meghan Moore to the position of Vice President of Customer Experience, also based there.

Founded in 2014 by a team of ex-Googlers, academics, physicists, consultants and political operatives, Remesh has developed a survey tool that uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing to gather, filter and rank the collective opinion of crowds in a conversational format. In 2017, the firm raised $2.25m in a seed funding round, which it is using to further develop its AI technology and expand its development and research teams. Moore (pictured), who joined two years ago, previously served as Director of Customer Success, before which she built the Customer Success team at Jetport.

New hires include: Kate Economou, Senior Qualitative Researcher, who was previously the New York Research Lead for FTI Consulting's Strategic Communications segment and joins the team with twenty years of experience in primary and secondary qual and quant research; and Douglas Freeman, VP of Sales, who most recently served as VP of Sales at The Muse, and joins the team with fourteen years of experience building sales organizations in SaaS, HR tech, and traditional / digital marketing sales. In addition, David Tuffy has joined as Vice President of Product, after product development roles at Napster and American Express; and Mike Bruni takes up the position of Vice President of Engineering, having previously been VP of Engineering at CB Insights.
