MomentFeed Names New CEO
In the US, customer experience management platform MomentFeed has named Nick Hedges as its new Chief Executive Officer. He replaces Robert Blatt who has left the company to pursue non-work related activities.
Santa Monica, California-based MomentFeed has developed software which helps companies with a lot of locations attract more customers by connecting brands with consumers who use mobile devices, when they are ready to buy locally. The firm's Mobile Customer Experience management software enables companies to engage with consumers through mobile networks: Facebook, Google, Apple, Bing, Snapchat, and Yelp. MomentFeed then uses the location data generated by mobile devices to make local recommendations.
Hedges (pictured) joins after a decade at sales acceleration platform Velocify (recently acquired by mortgage lender software provider Ellie Mae), where he latterly served as President and CEO. Prior to this, he held senior positions at Bain & Company, Accenture.com, and Ogilvy & Mather.
Commenting on the appointment, Board member and Investor Sarah Sommer, a Partner at Level Equity, comments: 'We are delighted to have Nick Hedges at the helm at MomentFeed. The company is positioned for incredible growth and Nick has an unbeatable track record in accelerating growth and leading the market in competitive technology spaces. We are very excited to realize Nick's ambitious vision for the product and company.'
