Kantar Public Completes Integration of InterMedia

Kantar has completed the integration of societal impact consultancy InterMedia into its Public division, thus expanding its Washington D.C. office and strengthening the division's growing Development Practice.

Denise O'ReillyThe Practice offers research, evaluation and consultancy in areas from health, sanitation and education to agriculture, market systems and gender equality. The offer integrates techniques from the public and private sectors and is driven by strong contextual insight from local specialist teams and deep experience across Africa, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia. In 2017 it brought in eighteen-year InterMedia veteran Susan Gigli as Global Director for International Development, with a seat on its Global Board.

Kantar Public Global CEO Dr Michelle Harrison says the division provides 'a natural home' for InterMedia and its team of experts. 'We know their reputation and experience from working alongside them in Washington, Africa and South Asia. Their expertise will strengthen our capabilities in the design, implementation and impact evaluation of programmes and policies'.

Denise O'Reilly (pictured), who has led InterMedia as President and CEO for the past four years, says the combined firms 'can go further in providing clients with research for global development and continue InterMedia's legacy and mission to do research that informs and changes lives'.

InterMedia, which also has a base in Nairobi, Kenya, is online at www.intermedia.org , while its new owner is at www.kantar.com/public .
