UserTesting Opens EMEA HQ in Edinburgh

US-based customer insights platform UserTesting has opened its first international office, in Edinburgh, Scotland, where it has appointed Bruce Hunter as European Regional Vice President.

Andy MacMillanHeadquartered in San Francisco, the 'human insight' company allows participants to record their screen activity and voice as they use a web site, providing feedback on issues such as why they're not buying a particular product or service. The firm acquired market research and user experience test panel provider UserMuse in January, adding respondent recruitment software for product usability testing and in-depth interviews.

Hunter joins the new Edinburgh office, which will serve as UserTesting's EMEA headquarters, with more than 25 years' tech sector experience. He previously led customer-focused teams in more than 30 countries while working at US companies PTC, Ascential Software and Crossbeam Systems. More recently, he served as Global Sales Director at translation software company Lingo24, and Chief Commercial Officer at Particle Analytics.
