TheIndustry.fashion Launches Brand and Retail Tracker

In London, intelligence-led media and events business TheIndustry.fashion has launched a brand and retail tracker called The Index, which promises metrics and insights into the psyche of today's consumer.

Lauretta Roberts and Antony HawmanMembers of TheIndustry.fashion gain unlimited access to 'The Intelligence', which provides knowledge and sales data covering more than 800 companies with 17,000+ data points. The firm's new monthly tracker assesses brand sentiment towards the top 100 UK brands and retailers, using survey data drawn from 2,000 consumers. These consumers are then given a Buzz Score that places them on a tracker, and each brand's Buzz Score can then be benchmarked against other retailers and brands in the market. Through these two tools, users can gain insight into how fashion companies are performing and how consumers are thinking and behaving.

Metrics will be updated every month, enabling brands to monitor brand sentiment and movements in the market, and adjust their strategies accordingly. 'The Index' will reveal which stores and web sites consumers are shopping in and visiting, and help users to discover preferred retail formats, locations and sectors; track the shift towards eCommerce and mobile purchasing; and understand key drivers for spending.

Paying members of TheIndustry.fashion can access The Index as part of their membership package, complimented by a library of in-depth reports containing survey data on topics such as consumer attitudes towards sustainability and social media, and to physical versus digital retail.

The company, which was founded by Lauretta Roberts and Antony Hawman (pictured), is online at: www.theindustry.fashion .
