Cambridge MR Hires Gritten for New CEO Role

In the UK, Cambridge Market Research (CMR) has hired former Future Thinking UK MD Adele Gritten as its first Chief Executive Officer.

Founded in 1980, the full-service agency offers quant, qual and sensory research for the food, drink, FMCG and retail markets. Gritten (pictured) joins after nearly four years at Future Thinking, where she was also responsible for corporate development across the MENA region. Prior to this, she was MD of Lieberman Research Worldwide, and UK Commercial Director of YouGov, having earlier been Director of Research at Marcus Evans, and held roles at Quaestor and Clear Channel Outdoor.

In her new position, Gritten is charged with growing CMR's business; providing strategic leadership across the company; and overseeing operational and financial performance and delivery against operating plans. Company Chairman Paul Beresford comments: 'Adele brings a wealth of senior leadership expertise and client-facing gravitas.
