Momentum Creates New Research Management Role

In New York, global ad agency Momentum Worldwide has promoted Elena Klau to fill the newly created role of Chief Strategy & Analytics Officer, Research Management.

Elena KlauKlau (pictured) joined the Interpublic-owned agency in 2011 to launch its Measurement and Analytics department, after which she oversaw the New York Strategy Department, while leading the measurement and analytics discipline worldwide. More recently at SVP level she served as practice lead of the Strategy and Analytics teams across North America. Earlier in her career, Klau worked for Kaleidoscope Sports and Entertainment, latterly as Director of SponsorScience; having previously been Insights and Strategy Analyst at Gerson Lehrman Group.

In her new role, Klau will continue to spearhead the agency's data-driven projects and expand her team to take a global approach in delivering Momentum's latest tools and solutions for the business. This involves expanding its proprietary global research series, WE KNOW Experiences, as well as building on the company's AI-powered business intelligence platform, MomentumBi.

She reports to Chairman and CEO Chris Weil, who comments: 'At Momentum, we understand the importance of harnessing data and deep insights to better deliver for our clients and solve their business challenges. Elena has been pivotal in reinventing our strategy and research division, creating best-in-class tools and solutions for our business. Through all of her accomplishments, I could not think of anyone more fitting for this role'.
