Burrelles and TVEyes in Media Content Analysis Deal

In the US, media intelligence firm Burrelles has partnered with broadcast monitoring specialist TVEyes, aiming to create a single global platform to evaluate media content from more than 150 countries and territories.

Chaz WaggonerConnecticut firm TVEyes continuously records content from TV channels and imports it into a text-searchable database which can be accessed by clients to find out when and how often particular words or phrases have been used in broadcasts. Users can instantly find, watch and share ten-minute clips relating to their searches; track how many times a particular product was mentioned during a specific time frame; and determine whether the context was positive or negative. Its platform also combines language-specific automated speech recognition, image detection and video search technology, to convert unstructured audio and video content into intelligence.

TVEyes has now hooked up with Burrelles, whose own suite includes media monitoring, communication tools, customized reporting, analytical research, publishing, data services and other professional services. Chaz Waggoner (pictured), CEO of Burrelles, comments: 'TVEyes was a natural fit to join us in the next phase of our growth strategy. Not only have they developed new features like logo detection and podcast monitoring, their commitment to the quality of human insight perfectly aligns with what we at Burrelles believe will always be the differentiating factor in delivering the most powerful value to help our customers make the best business decisions'.
