AskNicely Opens First European Office in Amsterdam

US-based customer experience platform AskNicely has opened its first European office in Amsterdam, where the firm's expansion will be led by Kyle Bolster, Vice President and General Manager for Europe.

Kyle BolsterAskNicely was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Portland, Oregon with additional operations in Auckland, New Zealand. The firm's Conversations platform provides customer feedback, motivates staff to deliver better customer experiences and drives customer advocacy. It supports customer experience metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), customer satisfaction (CSAT) and Customer Effort Score (CES), and integrates with more than 40 different platforms.

Last year, the firm raised $10m in a Series A round of funding, as it moved its HQ from New Zealand to the US. Bolster (pictured), who previously served as VP, Enterprise Sales in New Zealand, will now lead the expansion of AskNicely into the EMEA market, after nearly four years with the business.

CEO and co-founder Aaron Ward says Amsterdam has become a hub for innovation: 'We recognize the potential of the city's incredible talent pool, its world-class infrastructure, and the vibrant growth that has fueled the Amsterdam tech scene. We prioritized choosing a European home that aligns with our company culture, which is very important to us'.
