Kaykas-Wolff Takes New President Role at Lytics

Former Webtrends marketer Jascha Kaykas-Wolff has been hired as the first President of real-time customer data platform Lytics.

Jascha Kaykas-WolffFounded by former Webtrends employees James McDermott and Aaron Raddon, Portland, Oregon-based Lytics offers a platform which pulls in the client's customer and user marketing data from both structured and unstructured sources including sales and support databases. This is used to form 'behavior-rich' user segments, such as 'likely to churn', 'most active on mobile' or 'coupon lover', which are then integrated with the client's marketing tools.

Last year, Lytics raised $35m in a Series C round of funding, for product development and expansion of its team. Kaykas-Wolff (pictured) joins in the newly created role from Mozilla, the not-for-profit behind the Firefox browser, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to this he served in leadership roles at software company BitTorrent, and at Microsoft and Yahoo!, as well as at traffic analysis pioneer Webtrends.

At Lytics, Kaykas-Wolff will initially be responsible for go-to-market strategy, tapping his background in product direction, customer success and operations. He will report directly to CEO and co-founder James McDermott, who comments: 'Jascha's experience, creativity, and commitment to customer-centric leadership will have an immediate impact on our organizational culture and delivering exceptional solutions to our customers. His experience will help us quickly get to the next level in terms of growth and execution'.
