TapClicks Hires New CFO and VP of People Success

In the US, digital marketing and performance analytics specialist TapClicks has added two senior execs to its team: Kevin Thompson as Chief Financial Officer, and Marielle Smith as Vice President of People Success.

San Jose, California-headquartered TapClicks has developed a platform which pulls in more than 200 data sources through its Connector Marketplace, allowing users to analyze data from marketing and advertising tools. Last August, the firm raised $10m in an equity funding round, part of which has been earmarked for future acquisitions, following its previous takeover of competitive intelligence solutions provider iSpionage.

Thompson joins with more than twenty years' leadership experience, having most recently served as CFO of relationship marketing solutions specialist Selligent, and earlier CFO roles at Elastica, HEAT Software, and Vitria Technology. At TapClicks, he will lead the execution of the firm's financial strategy with a focus on rapid expansion across the advertising and marketing industries. Smith has more than twenty years' HR and business operations experience. She was previously VP, People and Culture at Science Exchange, and she held other leadership HR roles at GoodHire, Apigee and News Digital Media (Newscorp). In her new role, Smith will lead the company's People Success team, which includes talent acquisition and management, organization design, and people operations.
