Neustar Sells Registry Business to Focus on OneID

In the US, consumer data provider Neustar has sold its Internet domain name registry services business to domain registrar and web site hosting company GoDaddy, allowing it to focus on its identity intelligence platform, OneID. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Charlie GottdienerNeustar combines data science, programmatic ad buying and proprietary first party data assets to offer cross-platform targeting. Its OneID system provides identity intelligence gained through billions of daily transactions across digital traffic, global communications and customer interactions. In a statement, the firm said the GoDaddy deal would give its Registry business new avenues for growth and scale, while allowing it to better focus on its OneID platform.
