Catalina Names New CFO

In the US, shopper intelligence provider Catalina has appointed Robert 'Bob' Reich as its new Chief Financial Officer.

Bob ReichFlorida-based Catalina, which also has operations in the US, Europe and Japan, offers access to a shopper history database used by CPG brands to target consumers with behavior-based messages at appropriate times, via mobile, online and in-store channels. Reich joins with more than 25 years' business and financial management expertise, gained in both public and private equity-sponsored companies. For the last five years, he served as EVP and CFO of software and services provider Syniverse Holdings.

Previously, he was SVP and CFO for Hawaiian Telcom Communications, and earlier VP, Controller and Treasurer for McLeodUSA, and Assistant VP, Corporate Financial Planning and Assistant Controller at Wisconsin Central Transportation Corporation. He began his career with Deloitte in Chicago.

In his new role, Reich reports to CEO Wayne Powers, who comments: 'Bob's success at developing and leading diverse teams to achieve corporate strategies will be especially valuable to us as we continue to invest in innovation. Our aggressive investments over the last fifteen months have led to new data-driven products and actionable insights that are helping our retail and CPG partners better understand and engage shoppers on a massive scale.
