Sorrell's MightyHive Names NA Senior Data Director

Sir Martin Sorrell's programmatic media practice MightyHive has appointed Sayf Sharif as Senior Director of Data for North America.

Sayf SharifAcquired by Sorrell's digital advertising and marketing services company S4 Capital in 2018, San Francisco-based MightyHive provides consulting and services across media operations and training, data strategy and analytics. Last year it merged with London-based digital analytics, biddable media and data science consultancy ConversionWorks and with Datalicious Korea (now MightyHive Korea), which focuses on analytics, social media ROI measurement and CRM. Most recently, it added Latin American data and analytics consultancy Digodat, whose offer includes data visualization, predictive modeling and data engineering.

Sharif (pictured) joins from audience research and big data specialist Seer Interactive, where most recently he was VP Analytics; before which he was Analytics Department Lead at digital marketing consultancy and Google Analytics specialist LunaMetrics (now Bounteous). Prior to this, he ran his own data driven marketing and analytics consultancy, OrcaPack; and earlier he was a User Experience Engineer at Beachfire, and Senior UI Design Developer at Event Zero.

In his new role, Sharif will build and lead data and analytics strategies for clients in North America and around the globe, helping them create technology stacks and develop attribution models based on their business goals and needs. Commenting on the appointment, Tyler Pietz, VP of Global Enterprise Solutions, said: 'Sayf's unique qualifications and his archaeologist eye make him a valuable addition to MightyHive. In this new role, he will help write the playbook for our clients and our team'.
