Shapiro+Raj Fills President Role
In the US, brand and marketing insights company Shapiro+Raj has appointed Cindy Tran as company President. The position has been vacant for the past two years, since the departure of Margaret Mueller, who now serves as CEO of the Executives' Club of Chicago.
 Headquartered in Chicago, with additional offices in New York and Pune, India, Shapiro+Raj was formed in 2014 when business transformation specialist Zain Raj acquired a majority interest in independent MR firm Shapiro. Tran (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' brand marketing, insights and strategy consulting experience. Most recently, she co-led Planning & Strategy at Havas Health & You healthcare ad agency H4B Chelsea. Prior to this, she held senior positions at Publicis Health and Interbrand Health, having begun her career at Unilever.
In her new role as part of the firm's exec leadership team, Tran will work with its integrated teams of social scientists, brand planners, digital strategists, analysts and project managers. She is also charged with identifying and developing new products and services, both methodological and digital; and with leading the overall strategy of the company.
