Research & Results Co-founder to Launch New Trade Show

Heinrich Fischer, one of the founders of recently closed MR trade show Research & Results, has announced that he is setting up a new event which will take place next April in Munich.

Last week it was announced that the previous firm, Reitmeier Input Management Services GmbH, was to close because of the impact of the Covid-19 crisis. It had been founded in 2002 and was the organiser of the annual Research & Results two-day trade show, which regularly attracted more than 3,000 participants and almost 200 exhibiting companies from Germany and abroad. In addition, the business printed the Research & Results magazine seven times a year, and sent a weekly e-mail newsletter offering news, job ads and details about industry events taking place around the world.

Fischer (pictured), a former exec at print industry trade magazine Druck & Medien, has now written an open letter, announcing the launch of an as yet unnamed 'future-compliant' market research fair, which will take place on 21st and 22nd April next year at the MOC Munich conference centre, where Research & Results was previously held. In the letter, Fischer explains: 'I think that the coming year 2021 will still be marked by restrictions, therefore, I am planning the coming event completely new so that it complies with all hygiene regulations. The MOC has ideal premises for this. I will also use this reorientation as an opportunity to develop the event significantly and to expand it into a hybrid trade fair with future-compliant, digital forms of presentation'.
